Safety first at KwaZulu Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition

Supersafe Systems will be exhibiting at the event for the fourth year, believing that their stand at the KZN Industrial Technology Exhibition is one of their biggest marketing tools. “As an ideal place to launch new products, as well as engage in networking opportunities with other suppliers
and manufacturers, we always benefit massively from participating” said Otto
Coetzee (Manager).

Their product range, which includes a long lasting, all weather and cost effective solution for slippery surfaces, floors, stairwells and landings, has already been widely implemented by some of the world’s biggestย  companies, including De Beers, Shell, Toyota and Unilever. Some of the advantages of installing the product include the prevention of costly accidents through improving the safety of the workplace, by implication the improvement of safety statistics, and of course the avoidance of litigation.

According to Coetzee, “our company has a research and development division, that will continue to enhance products to ensure that Supersafe maintains the industry standard in non-slip products. At this year’s KwaZulu Natal Exhibition we are launching a few new products, as well as a number of
improvements to our existing product range”.

Noise Clipper is another South African company who is making a big impact in the safety equipment sector of the industrial technology industry. As leading providers of both Hearing Protection Device’s (HPD’s) and Hearing Conservation Program’s (HCP’s), “one of the cornerstones of Noise Clipper
(SA) is a human resources vision in terms of QWL (quality of work-life)” said Rita Badenhorst, Noise Clipper (SA) Marketing Manager.

Having recently secured the exclusive Variphone (Belgium) and Sonomax (Canada) licenses, Badenhorst said that the company was “excited about exhibiting the Variphone and Sonomax products alongside our own Noise Clipper products”, which include a wide range of custom made hearing protectors, in-ear monitors and communication systems. With a customer base that includes Harmony Gold, Petro SA, Impala Platinum, Exxaro and Anglo Coal to name but a few, Badenhorst believes that “our excellent service and philosophy of quality over quantity sets us apart from our competitors”.
